Download the files and plans below to build the SF2 Rhino Runt aluminium / aluminum rc aircraft. So far I have uploaded the overall plans and the templates tail section, aileron and rib. If you have basic metal work skills and tools (rivet gun, hacksaw and drill) this is an easy build, taking much less time than a balsa aircraft. This construction technique produces an aircraft that is only slightly heavier than a comparable balsa machine with the benefit of being much stronger and much easier to repair if it does get damaged. Go ahead... build one. I'll support you with advise, photos and instructions if needed.
The files are all PDF. Where possible I try to fit the templates to an A4 sheet. For parts that are larger than this simply set your printer to 'add crop marks'. Once printed, simply trim one of the mating sheets and join them with sticky tape.

If you build a Runt or Rhino, please tell us about it and send some pictures. There is a lot of interest in using aluminium in RC construction and we'd love to see your build, your ideas and share them with other Rhino enthusiasts. We've set up a page to show these sister aircraft. Go to Your Build. (This page is not yet added- coming soon)
